Welcome to Project Finance's privacy policy

Project Finance was created to help you with your monthly income and expenses. We do not support bank connection as you are required to add the data manually. Using our app you will be able to follow your savings. Also, we provide you with a cloud backup, only create an account and that's it! Invoices can be marked up as not synchronizable if you want some of them to not synchronize, by doing so, they will not be backed up.

At Project Finance, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Project Finance and how we use it.

This policy may be updated in the future, so we encourage users to read it periodically.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for users that uses our application with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Project Finance. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this application.

Consent

By using our app, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

Information we collect

Project Finance collects the following information:

• Information required to make an invoice. All information added is not proccess externally by any party, as the information is saved on the user's phone in a local database. This information may also be synchronized on the cloud, but is not needed to use the app.

• Information about the user, such as email, username and password. This information is used to identify the user and bring a cloud synchronization solution. This information is not shared with any third party and cloud synchronization is not necessary to use the app.

• Other information may be recollected by our third party, such as Firebase or Google Ads. You can check their privacy policies on the links below.

This information will be only backed up in our servers if you create an account. To use this application, an account is not required.

How we use your information

In Project Finance, we use your information to make it easy to display the invoice added. This information is stored on a local database on the user's phone and it's not accesible from the outside unless you activate Cloud Synchronization, as it will be stored on our servers but only the owner will be able to access it.

If Cloud synchronization is on, information may be used to identify you and to back up your invoices on our server.

We use this information on our server:

• Email and/or username to identify the user and manage user credentials. This information is not proccess or shared to third parties.

  User may also use Google authentication to register/login to our app. In this case, only the email and the user profile picture is used and stored to our server. This information is not proccess or shared to third parties.

  We may contact you via email automatically for actions such as verify your email or recover your password.

• Image, used to personalize user's profile. The image is not mandatory and a default image will be given. This information is not proccess or shared to third parties.

  As disclosed before, if the user logs in with a Google account, their user profile may be used to personalize their profile.

• Invoice information to back up the user's invoices. Invoices are generated by users, and they must add information such as title, invoice amount and date. Other information may be added such as description or category.

  This information is not proccess or shared to third parties. It will only be stored on the server and requested ONLY by the user who created this data.

• Information for Two Factors Authentication (2FA). In Project Finance we give the option to use a 2FA. We may ask for a code periodically, for example when user request to change their profile information or when the user logs in. The user may use their own 2FA app to authenticate.

• Project Finance uses Google Ads to finance the app. You can check their privacy policies clicking here.

• Project Finance also uses Firebase Crashlytics to recollect errors and fix them as fast as possible. You can check their privacy policies clicking here.

GDPR Data Protection Rights

• We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

• The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

• The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete the information you believe is incomplete.

• The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

• The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

• The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

• The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

CCPA compliance

If you are a California resident, you have certain rights with respect to your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"). We describe those rights below and explain how to exercise them.

Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights), we will disclose to you:

• The categories of personal information we collected about you.

• The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.

• Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling that personal information.

• The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.

• The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you (also called a data portability request).

Deletion Request Rights

You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights), we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.

Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Project Finance isn't targeted to childs, thought they can use the app as it is an app to register your personal finances and doesn't require any bank connection.

Project Finance will not recollect any information of persons under 13 with knowledge
